La semana pasada tuvimos la visita del Dr. Jeffrey Leis (University of Tasmania, UTAS), experto en el tema de taxonomía y ecología larval de peces tropicales de Australia. El Dr. Leis escuchó y comentó el trabajo realizado en el marco de los proyectos FONDECYT y CIMAR que actualmente realiza LABITI. Los miembros del laboratorio, tanto profesionales como estudiantes de pregrado, tuvieron la oportunidad de presentar sus avances al Dr. Leis y recibir sus sugerencias. La semana de intenso trabajo se vio recompensada por importantes sugerencias y apoyo a la investigación en curso.
Past week we have the visit of Dr. Jeffrey Leis (University of Tasmania, UTAS), international expert in larval fish taxonomy and ecology, mainly from tropical seas of Australia. Dr. Leis listened and commented the work done in relation to projects FONDECYT and CIMAR. Members of the team, both professionals and undergraduate students have the opportunity to show their advances
to Dr. Leis and receive some advices and suggestions.
