Fondecyt 1150296: Exitoso muestreo de trampas de luz en El Quisco, Chile central

Durante la fase lunar de cuarto creciente, se realizó un muestreo con trampas de luz en tres puntos de Bahía El Quisco, Chile central, en el marco del proyecto Fondecyt 1150296. En esta oportunidad se recolectó una serie de organismos del meroplancton, entre ellos, postlarvas de peces, paralarvas de cefalópodos y megalopas de crustáceos decápodos. Las larvas de peces fueron anestesiadas con benzocaína previa a su sacrificio.

During the third quarter moon, a sampling with 3 light traps in El Quisco Bay, Central Chile was carried out supported by Fondecyt 1150296. At this time, a series of meroplanktonic organisms were collected, among them fish postlarvae, cephalopod paralarvae and crustaceans decapod megalopae. Fish larvae were anesthesized with benzocaine before their sacrifice.
